Kestrow ships worldwide. Orders to the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand typically arrive within 7–15 business days. We stand behind every HydroGuard straw. If there's an issue with your order, email us at support@kestrow.com within 14 days of delivery and our team will sort it out — refund, replacement, or exchange, depending on the situation.

Each HydroGuard straw filters up to 1,000 liters before the membrane needs replacing — enough for months of regular outdoor use.

No. The 0.01 micron membrane removes bacteria, parasites, and sediment, but it isn't rated for viruses or seawater. It's built for freshwater sources like streams, lakes, and rivers.

Blow air back through the straw after each use to clear residual water, then let it air-dry before storing. Avoid letting it freeze while wet, as that can damage the membrane fibers.

Both — it's rated for continuous daily filtering (camping, hiking, travel) as well as emergency storage, as long as you replace it once it hits the 1,000L capacity or filtration slows down noticeably.
